Scenes of Various Restaurants Around Chicago

As a freshman in SAIC, my work focused on the present environment that revolved around me. In a big city like Chicago, you see all sorts of people as you go out to eat. So, I painted different people I saw in restaurants. In one painting called: “Ice Cream” I depict an old man drinking ice-cream. The colors of the ice-cream were a very vivid green and pink. The ice-cream was not the only thing that caught my eye, but the man that was eating it was hard to miss. He was dressed in a bright blue suit and had placed a napkin at his neckline as if he was ready to eat a fine steak. But, it was merely ice-cream. My favorite part was his bright-white mustache that got stained as he kept devouring the cold delicacy.
